To start the first of 3 events, we rode in the parade down Central Avenue yesterday before arriving at Bethany Park to engage with Kansas City, Kansas Grandview Neighborhood residents about their community. Professor Shannon Criss’s KU Arch608 design studio is working in the neighborhood to make proposals for infill projects and “small bets” to promote healthy eating and active living. Many thanks to Marty Thoennes and Edgar Galicia of CABA for inviting us to participate, and to all the residents who spent some time sharing their knowledge. It was a beautiful day!
